From working in the family backyard on weekends, to earning a
horticulture degree from Cornell University, Mark has spent his entire life in and around plants. Having spent his formative childhood years living on St. Thomas and St. John, he has a true appreciation and understanding of the Virgin Islands, their lush landscape and what it takes to keep it “paradise”.

In addition to his formal horticulture education, Mark has spent more than ten years becoming PROPERTYKING. Whether it was his time at the renowned Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden in Miami, traveling across the country as a plant broker/locator, or working in one of the Northeast’s largest plant nurseries, Mark’s focus was on consulting with clients to identify their specific needs and landscape design goals. From this, Mark realized that identifying customer needs and exceeding their expectations is key to any successful business, no matter where.
